1) Termination

Hosting that expires and is not renewed within 10 days from expiry date, VPS Server within 48 hours, and Dedicated Server within 72 hours will be terminated completely. Deleted data cannot be restored in this case. The client will be informed either by email or phone call.

HostOpy will not be responsible if the client is unable to check email or receive calls regarding renewal.

All prices can be reviewed at HostOpy at any time.

The following content is prohibited on our servers (No Refund and Data Recovery possible if found):

1. Do not provide free hosting (for reseller users).
2. High traffic news websites and eCommerce websites are not allowed.
3. Spam/threat websites.
4. Phishing websites.
5. Email marketing.
6. IRC scripts/bots.
7. Proxy scripts/anonymizers.
8. Pirated software/warez.
9. Image hosting scripts (similar to Photobucket or Tinypic).
10. Large collections of MP3, MP4, DVD/CD ISO files, and movies.
11. Prime banks programs.
12. Lottery sites.
13. Forums and/or websites distributing warez/pirated/illegal content.
14. Fraudulent sites (including, but not limited to, aa419.org and escrow-fraud.com references).
15. Adult/porn websites.
16. Push button mail scripts.
17. Bitcoin mining.
18. .tk, .ml, .cf, .ga domain hosting is not allowed; if found, service will be terminated without prior notice.
19. Hacker-focused sites/archives/programs.
20. Commercial audio streaming (more than one or two streams).
21. CRC, UCL, Mitra UIDAI, or any type of print portal website is strictly prohibited.

All shared hosting plans are for web hosting purpose only. We do not allow hosting of download-heavy files such as mp3, wallpaper download sites, movie downloading/streaming sites, or bot sites. Such sites may be suspended without prior notice.

2) Fund or Credit Balance

1. No refund after funds are added to HostOpy wallet (credit balance).
2. Funds added into HostOpy wallet are non-refundable.
3. From 14-February-2022, if you buy hosting using credit balance and later request refund, refund will be added back to credit balance only (not bank/UPI/payment gateway).

3) Domain Registration

Customers cannot register domains that include trademark names of other companies/entities.

Once a domain is registered, it cannot be canceled or refunded.

It is the client responsibility to verify whether registration is successful. In rare technical/network/software issues, if registration fails, client must contact support within 7 working days at [email protected].

HostOpy is not liable for domain loss due to invalid/insufficient information, delayed payment, or technical faults beyond our control.

4) Backups & Recovery

1. Free backup is a complimentary service and fully automated. Data can be provided only if backup is available on storage server.
2. Accounts larger than 20GB will not be included in backups.
3. HostOpy is not responsible for files/data on your account; you must maintain your own backups.
4. Backup rotation is daily and stored on separate storage server, with access up to past 3 days. No extra charge. If service is suspended/terminated due to violation, access to backup may be withheld and removed.

5) Reactivation Fee

If service is suspended due to malware, phishing, or prohibited content, reactivation fee is INR 1000 / INR 500 respectively. No rebate will be provided.

Account may be temporarily suspended for 2 days. Before reactivation, abusive content must be removed; otherwise account may be permanently suspended.

6) Adult Content Policy / Spam Policy

Adult content such as pornography or nudity is not allowed.

1. Zero tolerance for unsolicited email, bulk email, and spam. Safe lists and double opt-in may still be treated as spam. Account can be terminated with or without notice. No refund will be given.
2. Mailing limits: Bulk mailing not allowed. Per cPanel account limit is 500 mails. If spamming is detected, account may be suspended with or without notice (shared/reseller only).

7) WHMCS

With reseller, master reseller, and alpha reseller plans, Softaculous-installed WHMCS is provided (no key, not verified, install only).

8) Affiliates Program

1. Referrals involving fraud/abuse/misconduct will not be paid.
2. Account must remain active for at least 60 days for payout.
3. Referrals requesting refund will not be paid.
4. Affiliate commission currently available only on HostOpy hosting plans.
5. No bulk email traffic, fraud redirects, malicious ads, coupon/discount abuse.
6. Violating affiliate accounts may be terminated without notice.
7. HostOpy can modify/cancel affiliate program at any time.

9) DDoS, Infected Files, Viruses, Destructive Activities, Shell Backdoor

1. Using HostOpy services for viruses, worms, trojans, flooding, bombing, or denial of service is prohibited.
2. CPGuard may suspend service if more than 10 infected files are found. Repeated infection can lead to termination and data removal. DDoS or unauthorized access via shell backdoor will result in strict action.

10) Mislead Update

(A) If customer provides incorrect details (email/phone/address), account may be closed until accurate information is submitted.

(B) Multiple accounts per user are not allowed. Duplicate accounts may be closed based on IP/activity/GEO checks.

(C) Repeated policy violations and false information may result in device lock. Bypass attempts may lead to permanent ban.

(D)(1) If a user violates terms stated in Paragraph 1, 6, 9, 12 (intentionally or unintentionally), user may be forgiven once and refunded as per refund policy.

(D)(2) If repeated, account will be terminated under Paragraph 1 and may be permanently banned under 10(C).

(E) Abusive/disrespectful behavior with support team (calls, tickets, chat, email) may result in temporary suspension and/or device-level ban under 10(C).

11) SMM Panels

If customer runs SMM panel, they must use eligible hosting type. If user is found running prohibited panel setup on HostOpy server, account may be terminated without prior notice.

12) Software/WebPanel/API Change

Freenom domains are not allowed on our hosting. If order is placed with freenom domain and used for spam, account will be suspended immediately and no refund will be processed.

13) Unlimited Hosting Plans

Unlimited hosting does not mean unlimited use of every server resource. As this is shared hosting, server resources are shared. If your usage impacts other sites, you may be asked to migrate to VPS/dedicated plans.

14) OTP Verification using WhatsApp

Users (new and existing) may be required to complete one-time OTP verification for authenticity and platform trust.

• Verified details may be used for emergency contact and abuse reporting.
• Upon successful verification, user gets direct platform linkage for secure communication.
• User data is handled confidentially and not shared with third parties except per policy/legal requirement.
• By opting for OTP verification, user consents to this process and terms.
• Verified details are non-transferable; misuse may lead to suspension.
• Users must comply with applicable laws.
• Terms may be modified; continued usage implies acceptance.

One Person, One Phone Number, One Account: Only one account per individual with unique number is allowed. Violations may result in penalties/suspension.

15) Client Identity

For VPS, dedicated servers, or RDP purchases, clients must complete verification by submitting national ID, passport, or driver license. Failure to comply may delay or reject purchase.

16) Warning Level Protocol

• Users may receive up to three warnings for repeated violations (including excessive repetitive WhatsApp messaging, disappearing during support, inappropriate behavior).
• After three warnings, user may be banned from WhatsApp/call support and must use ticket/email support.
• Users agree to comply with this warning system; further actions may be applied on non-compliance.
• These terms may be modified with notice.
